The FC United march goes on…
FC United of Manchester came from two-nil down to get a point at Gigg Lane yesterday and carry on a five game run of non-defeats. The game eventually finished 3-3, with United and North Ferriby both losing players to red cards.
FC also missed a penalty to level the game at 3-3 with Phil Marsh passing the ball to their ‘keeper. United were then given another chance from the spot, which Ben Deegan put away with about 10 minutes to play. A winner looked likely until Rob Nugent was sent of for FC for a second yellow.
