Peculiar girls and Longfellas

Course You Can Malcolm, the Manchester club night in the afternoon, which takes place at the wrong end of the tram tracks, hosted two great acts on Saturday, prior to FC United’s 2-0 win over promotion rivals Hednesford Town.

Tony Walsh, aka Longfella, regaled us all with his interactive poem about Manchester complete with songs, chants and silences, before the delightful Jenny Shuttleworth, aka Girl Peculiar, performed an outstanding set for those who chose genuine culture over televised sport for their pre-match entertainment.

Thanks to all those that came, drank, ate and were generally merry while raising another impressive wedge towards FC United of Manchester’s proposed home in Moston.
