Workers of the world unite

On Sunday, May 1, join millions of people around the world to celebrate International Workers’ Day. There will be a march in Manchester to say there is an alternative to the Tory attempts to wreck many people’s lives in order to inflict their selfish ideology.

May Day in Manchester will see a march for the alternative. Celebrate International Workers’ Day on Sunday, May 1, 2011 and say:

- No cuts, no privatisation, save our NHS
- No to racism
- Workers of the world unite

Assemble 1pm, All Saints Park, Oxford Rd, before marching to a rally at 2.15pm in front of Urbis.

There will be food and entertainment for all ages in Friends Meeting House, Mount St (behind Central Library) including music and poetry celebrating the Arab Spring, from 3pm

Organised by Manchester TUC supported by Manchester Coalition Against Cuts, Greater Manchester Stop the War Coalition, RAPAR, University of Manchester Students’ Union, Manchester Metropolitan Students’ Union
